Being a native of Northern California and raised around the rich music scene of the San Francisco bay area, David Filice had much to be inspired by musically from very early on. His father being a classical pianist and having music around the house all the time paved the way for a lifelong pursuit of a career in music. At the age of twelve David picked up the bass guitar after hearing "Limelight" by Canadian rock legends Rush and hasn't put it down since. After moving from the Bay Area to Los Angeles in 2001, David started his career writing/producing music for film and TV. From documentaries to film soundtracks his credits include A&E, Bravo, Discovery, MTV, and Cinemax, among others. After completing over forty projects in film and television David decided to launch the next phase of his career in music as a session/touring bassist, which was always his true passion. Since then David has had the opportunity to record, perform, and tour with such artists as: The Rembrandts, David Archuleta, Richie Kotzen, Bret Michaels, Macy Gray, One Tribe Nation, Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie, Tin Machine), among others. His wildly varying experiences in many musical worlds have brought him to arena's, recording studios, and television worldwide. And his versatility continues to spark demand from today's recording artists. David is proudly endorsed by Gallien Krueger, Line 6, and Michael Kelly Guitars.
